This residence was designed for a professional couple and their son. The client wanted an open floor plan with views to the surrounding golf course. Since the homesite was lower in height than the golf course, the design required raising the main floor of the home level with the golf course, creating a lower level basement. Earth was brought in at the front of the home, creating an easy entry to the main level and a pleasing presentation to the street.
