This residence, built in the early 1900s underwent a renovation in the 1960s that removed the wrap around porch as well as many of the details and finishes that gave homes of that era their great character. The current owners wanted to return the home to its original grandeur. Researching old photos and similar houses from that time period enabled our firm to restore those components and character to this residence. The owners also wanted to upgrade the kitchen to modern standards without losing the historic feel of the home.
This project was honored by the Historic Preservation Commission of the Glen Ridge Historic District for the restoration of this property.
